MEET THE BAKER

Hey! I'm Elizabeth, a self-taught baker and owner of Dreelightful Treats. My love for the kitchen started in middle school when I took a cooking class as an elective. I will never forget, the housekeeping rules I learned, to the very first thing I made: cinnamon rolls- FROM SCRATCH. Now and then I would whip something up and had the best food critics (my family) I know taste test my foods. Trust me, they were tough, but  gave profound feedback. In 2018, I baked cupcakes for a friend's birthday and the love and feedback I received was so overwhelming. I couldn't believe it, the 1 dozen cupcakes, covered in lavender buttercream with yellow-colored-white chocolate letters, were a hit! After that, for every event, you can bet I brought some cupcakes to the party. I loved seeing the faces of people after the first bite, the kids licking all the buttercream, or hearing "Who made the cupcakes!?"  What started as "I'll bring some cupcakes to the party" sprung into Dreelightful Treats, nicknamed after my sweet daughter, Dree. Based in NYC, serving all 5 boroughs and its surrounding neighborhoods, I specialize in cupcakes, custom buttercream cakes and pull-aparts. I can't wait to be apart of your special day!
